As we all know, protection from the sun and its harmful UVR (ultraviolet radiation) is vital. UVR has been proven to have some very harmful side effects ranging from burns, heat-stroke, to cancers such as melanoma. Shade To Order uses specialized fabrics that effectively blocks any harmful sunlight or UVR. These high-quality fabrics can also provide protection from the elements such as wind, rain, hail, or even snow.
Shade For Streetscapes…
A streetscape put simply is how the road, buildings, gardens, and paths work together to create the general ‘feel’ of a street. This can also include the given shade of the street, whether that be from awnings, walkways, or shade sails.
The most common streetscapes include footpaths and pedestrian thoroughfares, public transport points (such as bus stops and taxi ranks), and shopping centers and precincts. Notice that all these areas would highly benefit from effective shade.
A good streetscape can mean an improved sense of community, increase market demand, raise property prices, encourage purchases, and improve the overall comfort an experience of a patron. A common streetscape is also used daily and year-round so the provision of effective UVR protection is necessary to create a safe public environment.
